Programs & Events

STEP New York hosts at least 10 events and programs annually. Members are invited to every event and enjoy discounted pricing for most. Potential members and guests are welcome at most, but not all, STEP New York events.

Our events and programs include the following:

  • Monthly luncheon programs, held from 11:45am to 1:15pm in New York City in the Midtown area.  We host a wide array of internationally-renowned speakers on a range of cross-border estate, trust, and tax planning topics of interest to our STEP members.  We generally have 10 monthly Luncheon Programs events every year.  Lunch is served at each event, and these lunches are in-person only events.  We welcome non-STEP members at these events.
  • Quarterly events, longer education sessions (usually 2.5 hours of continuing education credit) featuring panels of international experts. These longer programs include a networking reception following the education session, during which our members connect with one another for business and career networking.
  • Annual International Estate Planning Institute, our largest event annually and our branch’s signature event. The Institute, co-hosted by the New York State Bar, takes place every March.
  • Finally, from time to time we host private members-only functions. Recent examples included a summertime cocktail party over Park Avenue, a new member reception at the Princeton Club, and a wintertime membership drive happy hour at PwC’s New York office.
