TOPIC:  “Dutch Aspects of Wealth Management and Dutch Foundations” 

Speakers: 

Remco Bosveld, Partner and member of the Finance & Structuring practice group at AKD Law.  He is also the head of the firm’s Amsterdam offices.  Remco specializes in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions.   He has over 16 years of experience in company reorganizations, restructurings, setting up joint ventures, demergers, takeovers, divestments, corporate governance and equity and debt issuances.  Remco has extensive experience in the health care sector.

Philip van Hilten, tax attorney at law and a member of the Finance and Structuring practice group at AKD Law.  Philip specializes in corporate law and tax law with a focus on ongoing international clients and cross-border operational, assets, acquisitions and finance transactions. He advises international clients since 1976 on tax and legal efficient structures, whereby asset protection and governance play a vital roles.  Philip has worked in many foreign jurisdictions such as Paris, and Luxemburg and Dubai.

 Stefan Bais, has been practicing law at AKD since 2002, and is active in the Corporate Law/M&A practice group.  He specializes in corporate law and M&A, and focuses on corporate structuring, join ventures and corporate governance.  Stefan has assisted clients in a wide range of projects and transactions, including corporate restructuring, transfer pricing, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.  Stefan is one of the lead members of AKD’s Private Cleint practice group, servicing clients that (ultimately control closely-held businesses with advice aimed at balancing short- and long-term individual, family and business objectives.
